If you have managed to find a holiday apartment for rent in Florence and are enjoying a longer stay, then it is worth spending an entire afternoon or evening at the Piazzale Michelangelo. With the sun at your back, you soak up a view across the entire valley that includes snow capped peaks on clear winter days.


• Off the beaten path. The best view of the city is only a short bus ride away. If you want to see the sun set Tuscan style take the number 7 bus up to Fiesole. For the price of a drink in the Blu Bar you can see the sun slowly cast a reddish hue over milky white clouds. One of the best views in Tuscany.
